Vöran celebrates staying in the league after the derby win

Vöran showed a courageous performance on the “Veranum” bowling alley with 3340 pieces of wood and gave seventh-placed Jenesien (3196) no chance. Vöran's Alexander Zöggeler became the best player of the game, for whom the counter stopped at 581 pins. Thanks to the victory, the points account is increased to 13 points - and this means that the Vöraners can no longer be caught mathematically by the selection from Ratsching and Naturn.

The Ratschings selection suffered a 2012:13 home defeat (1:7) against third-placed St. Georgen on the third-to-last matchday of the 3345/3517 season. Peter Volgger fought against the defeat with the best performance of the day of 620 pins, but was unable to prevent it. Naturns was defeated 8-0 by league leaders Neumarkt. The Hungarian Gábor Kovács in Neumarkt's uniform put the stamp on this game, as he brought down an incredible 656 pins.

His pursuer Fugger Sterzing also celebrated a victory. The Wipptal team prevailed in a very mediocre game (3295:3193) against fourth-placed Sarnthein with 6,5:1,5 points. Here Thomas Weiskopf (Fugger Sterzing) was the best player of the match. He hit 584 pins.

Lana (20:6 against Tirol Mutspitz) and Passeier (2:7 against Kurtatsch) also celebrated victories on matchday 1. In Lana, Reinhard Obergasteiger (Lana) performed strongly with 589 woods, while in St. Martin, “host” Hugo Ennemoser swept 616 “wedges” off the track. These four teams are in the middle of the table.

Women's bowling: Fugger Vipiteno beats Tirol Mutspitz In the women's category, the already established champions Tirol Mutspitz suffered their third defeat of the season. The Burggräflerinnen had to admit defeat to Fugger Vipiteno 2:4 (2061:2076). With a strong haul of 575 pins, Veronika Tock played a key role in the victory of the Wipptal women, who are still in third place in the table.

Second-placed Villnöß had a flattering 4-2 away win against relegated Tramin. After the last throw, only ten pins separated the champions of the last two years and the club from the lower country (2044:2034). Enikö Tòt (Tramin) was once again the best player in the Tramin community center.

There was a 6-0 victory for two Eisacktal clubs. Los Birillos gave Pfalzen the maximum penalty, Pfeffersberg put Ratsching's selection in its place with the same result. In Klause, Petra Dorfmann (Los Birillos) was the best player of the game. She brought down 547 pins. Sandra Hofer once again stepped into the breach for Pfeffersberg, yielding 568 “wedges”.

Petra Stockner (Plose) also performed strongly with 570 pins, but could not prevent the 1:5 defeat against Burggräfler. Deutschnofen, however, celebrated a 20-5 home win against Meran in the 1th round, in which Marlene Pernter left a very good impression (559).
