With the 0-2 deficit, Vöran Blecherne had to react, and captain Annemarie Innerhofer did just that. She beat Renate Federer 516-481 (3-1 in set points), thus securing the victory for Vöran. Passeier quickly recovered, although the final match was the closest of all. Birgit Unterholzner (Vöran Blecherne) faced Doris Libardi (Passeier). Again, both players won two set points each, but Libardi ended up leading by five pins (512-507), securing the third point for the Passeier team.

But even that wasn't enough for victory. The final score was 1994:1992 for the home team. The last two match points went to Vöran, sealing the draw.

The A1-Class matchday of records What's got into the men's A1 bowlers? On the second matchday of the 2025/26 season, they set a total of four new records on three different lanes. The most impressive will likely be Naturno's, which set a new team lane record in Naturno's Civic and Town Hall during returning player Wolfgang Blaas's first home comeback.

In the 7,5-0,5 victory over Sarntal, Blaas shone with the day's best score of 661 pins. But he wasn't the only bowler on his team who was in top form last Friday. The match began with Walter Schlögl's victory over Sarntal's Franz Obkircher (616-566 pins, 2-2 in set points), before Blaas added the second match point with his outstanding victory over Christoph Thaler (661-585 pins, 4-0 in set points).

Werner Gruber (Naturns) then took on Walter Innerebner with a 592-583 victory (2-2 in set points), and Florian Schlögl added match point number four against Erich Ainhauser (597-557 pins, 3-1 in set points). The point was then shared when Kurt Fliri and Josef Obkircher played to a 584-584 tie (2-2 in set points). Finally, Frantisek Molcan made it 5,5-0,5 with a 612-558 victory over Christian Plattner. Naturns set a new team track record with a total of 3662 pins, and the average of 610 pins is more than impressive.

In addition to their performance in Tramin (see article above), the Fugger Sterzing team also set a new team track record. At home in the Bliegerstadion, they beat Burggräfler 7-1, knocking down a total of 3727 pins. South Tyrol's bowlers are in strong form.
