The 24th edition of the Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race in Nals delivered on its promise on Saturday. Around 800 participants from 24 nations battled for victory in their respective categories in glorious weather. There was no way around the Swiss athletes: Ramona Forchini secured victory in the women's category, while Luca Schätti triumphed in the men's category. Florian Pallweber, president of South Tyrol's most important cross-country race, takes stock in an interview with SportNews.
