Terra Raetica Trails Tour: Strong finale at Lake Reschen
Saturday's stage at Lake Reschen marked the end of the five-day Terra Raetica Trails Tour, an international trail running festival that brought together athletes from several Alpine regions.

The final stretch in the Reschensee region was one of the most challenging of the entire tour and led over almost 18 kilometers and more than 1.700 meters of altitude through the high alpine landscape with breathtaking views.
This year, the route started with a new route at the valley station of the Schöneben cable car. From there, the trail led to the Schöneben mountain station, continued along the high trail to the Haideralm and up to the Elferspitze (over 2.900 m above sea level), before continuing over the neighboring Zwölfer and finally ending at the Schöneben mountain station.
Anna Schmidt (DEU) took the women's victory with a time of 2.49.40:2.04.39:3, while Philipp Brugger (AUT) won the men's race with a time of 2.17.56:XNUMX:XNUMX. Tobias Zaros (Reschenseelaufteam) finished the Reschensee Trail stage as the best runner in Vinschgau, taking a strong third place with a time of XNUMX:XNUMX:XNUMX.
Anna Schmidt took the day’s victory in the women’s category.
Erhard Alex took the win in the uphill classification with a time of 31:01 minutes! In the women's category, Tanja Plaikner, competing for the Reschensee Team, delivered a convincing time of 37:26 minutes. In the overall tour rankings, Collin Van Almkerk (AUT) and Nina Kreisherr (DEU) topped the podium, officially honoring them as overall winners in the afternoon.
