Milan wins narrowly – and worries about a star
Milan has finally arrived in the new Serie A season! On Sunday, the Rossoneri celebrated a narrow victory over Bologna, but there are still concerns about one of their star players.

Milan suffered a nasty thrashing at the hands of Cremonese at the start of the season, but since that defeat, they've only won: first against Lecce (2-0) and now against Bologna (1-0). The winning goal on Sunday evening was scored by none other than Luka Modric.
The newly turned 40-year-old (his birthday was on September 9th) appeared in the Bologna penalty area after the break and scored the goal of the day with a precise low shot.
Concerns about Maignan
It was the former Ballon d'Or winner's first goal for Milan. However, the Rossoneri weren't entirely happy after the match, as star goalkeeper Mike Maignan had to be substituted due to injury after 55 minutes.

Apparently, the goalkeeper was struggling with muscular problems in his right lower leg. Maignan left the field limping, and it's not yet clear how long he'll be out. Reserve goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano replaced the Frenchman.
