Paolo Zanetti moves to a Serie A club

The former coach of FC Südtirol, Paolo Zanetti, has found a new employer. The 41-year-old will be in charge of a Serie A club.

Zanetti was on the sidelines at FC Südtirol from 2017 to 2019 and then moved to Ascoli. In 2020, he began his (successful) adventure with FC Venezia, winning promotion to Serie A. His last stop in the Italian top flight was with Empoli. The collaboration ended last September after he led the Tuscan club to avoid relegation the previous season.

Hellas had to look for a new coach because Marco Baroni moved to Lazio. The club from Verona finished 13th this season. The aim for the upcoming season under Zanetti is to avoid relegation.
