Next Series C adventures for Sgarbi and Wieser

Bolzano's Lorenzo Sgarbi was loaned out again by his parent club Napoli. After a few stints in the north of Italy, the offensive player will be looking for goals in the south next season. David Wieser from Val Gardena, whose transfer rights lie with Inter, also has a new club.

Renate, Pro Sesto and Legnago were the names of Lorenzo Sgarbi's previous loan stations. The now 22-year-old South Tyrolean made a total of 73 appearances in Serie C (including the cup, playout and playoff). Now Sgarbi has been loaned out again by his parent club Napoli - but this time to the southern district of Italy's 3rd league.

US Avellino is the name of the new destination for former FCS offspring Sgarbi. The club from the small town in Campania wants to play an important role in Serie C next season. Last year, Avellino ended the season in a disappointing 14th place, after always missing out on promotion in previous years. The Green-Whites played in Serie B for the last time in 2018.

Wieser goes to Mantua

Sgarbi's teammate at Pro Sesto, David Wieser, has also started a new loan position. The Val Gardena native (he was trained at FCS, Inter and Bologna) moved to Mantova.

The Lombards play in Serie C (District A) and want to have a say in promotion in the upcoming season. The squad is being properly upgraded. Wieser played his first season as a professional last season and made 18 appearances for Pro Sesto.
