Brixen makes the title fight exciting again

In the women's top league, SSV Brixen caused a stir with a narrow 1-0 victory over the previous league leaders Azzurra SB. Thanks to an early penalty goal by Laayeba Shabbeir and a missed chance by the opponents, the top spot in the league remains hotly contested. The victories by Pustertal and Riva del Garda also further heat up the four-way battle for the title.
