South Tyrol: Training camp time will soon be over

This summer, all sorts of professional football clubs came to South Tyrol again. Now this time is coming to an end. Here is an overview.

RB Leipzig was the best-known club that visited South Tyrol this year. The German cup winner trained in Reischach for eight days. On Friday the Saxons left the Pustertal and headed to North Tyrol to take part in a three-way tournament with Ipswich Town and Werder Bremen in Innsbruck in the afternoon.

Even before departure, Leipzig announced news. The contract with coach Marco Rose was extended until the summer of 2025 during the training camp in South Tyrol. The only test match was played in Lienz against Udinese, which the Serie A club won 2-1.

Serie A relegated Spezia has now also left South Tyrol. The future opponent of FC Südtirol was stationed in St. Christina for over two weeks. The Italian second division team won on the Thursday evening before departure a test match in Brixen against VfL Bochum. The German Revier club is stationed in Gais until Sunday. Before that, Bochum will test against Parma on Saturday at 17 p.m. in Brixen, who are training in Vals until Monday.
