After a long poker game: Díaz's transfer to FC Bayern is complete
Luis Díaz's transfer from Liverpool FC to Bayern Munich is complete. Díaz has been in Munich since early Tuesday morning, where he completed the mandatory medicals and was able to familiarize himself with his teammates and the club's grounds.

The 28-year-old Colombian signed a contract with the German record champions until June 30, 2029 and will wear the number 14.
"Luis Díaz is an internationally experienced player with tremendous quality, great skills, and great reliability. He will immediately help our team," said sporting director Max Eberl about the new signing. "Transfers like this work when everything meshes together." Díaz himself also expressed his delight: "It means a lot to me to be part of FC Bayern – it's one of the biggest clubs in the world."

Díaz is Bayern's first top signing since the Club World Cup. The Munich club had previously signed Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen and Tom Bischof from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In the current battle for new German international Nick Woltemade, there's a lot of evidence pointing to him staying at VfB Stuttgart.
