Pure drama: Latest Bundesliga goal scored against home club

Jakub Kaminski of 1. FC Köln scored the latest goal in Bundesliga history in his club's 3-3 (1-1) draw with VfL Wolfsburg. The 23-year-old Pole equalized in the 14th minute of stoppage time on Saturday. This goal "came later than ever before in the Bundesliga," according to the league's website.

Another notable feature of this goal: Kaminski is only on loan from Wolfsburg to Cologne. The attacking midfielder scored this record goal against his home club and said afterward: "I have respect for Wolfsburg, which is why I didn't celebrate after the goal."

The previous record holder also plays for FC: Marius Bülter scored in the twelfth minute of stoppage time for FC Schalke 31 in a 2022-23 win against FSV Mainz 04 on matchday 3 of the 2/05 season.
