Cup sensation! Bielefeld knocks out next first division team
The German third division football club Arminia Bielefeld continued its winning streak in the DFB Cup on Tuesday and is in the semi-finals after a home win against Werder Bremen.

The Bielefeld team, who were still in the top division three years ago, have already beaten two other Bundesliga teams, Freiburg and Union Berlin, on their way to the last four. Now they beat Werder 2-0, creating a state of emergency at the legendary Bielefeld Alm.
Against Bremen, a goal by Marius Wörl (35th minute) and an own goal by Julian Malatini (41st minute) gave them a 2-0 lead. The Hanseatics could only shorten the lead through Oliver Burke (56th minute).

Leverkusen and Stuttgart had already secured their place in the semi-finals before Bielefeld. The last semi-finalist will be decided on Wednesday between Leipzig and Wolfsburg.
