Bellingham after Alonso's departure: "A pile of shit"

Superstar Jude Bellingham has launched a scathing attack on the media following the departure of coach Xabi Alonso from Real Madrid.

"Up until now, I've let too much of it slide, always hoping the truth would come out in time. But honestly... what a load of crap," the former Borussia Dortmund player wrote in his app. JB5"I truly feel sorry for the people who follow every word of these clowns and their 'sources'."

Bellingham criticizes "misinformation for clicks"

The post refers to media reports stating that Bellingham was among the players who didn't believe in Alonso's tactics and ideas. Furthermore, reports mentioned a strained relationship between the coach and some of the star players.
“Don’t believe everything you read. Eventually, these people will be held accountable for spreading such harmful misinformation for clicks and controversy,” explained 22-year-old Bellingham.

Words of thanks to Alonso

Alonso had to leave after a good six months at Real Madrid following too many uninspired performances from the team and the lost Supercopa final against FC Barcelona. Álvaro Arbeloa, previously the reserve team coach, has now taken over the position. Real Madrid had success with a similar arrangement in 2016 when Zinédine Zidane was promoted to coach the reserve team. However, the careers of the two coaches are not comparable.

Bellingham posted a photo of himself and Alonso with happy faces. He addressed kind words to the former Leverkusen coach. "Thanks for everything, mister," Bellingham wrote. In an Instagram post, the England international added: "It was a pleasure, all the best for your future!"
