Agreement for Frimpong's move to Liverpool

According to a media report, the impending transfer of Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong to English football champions Liverpool FC can only fail due to a medical check.

According to the Sky A complete agreement has been reached on the transfer, with Frimpong's contract with the Reds said to run until 2030.

Leverkusen will receive a transfer fee of 35 to 40 million euros, which is stipulated in the exit clause of the contract, which runs until 2028. Other media outlets have also recently reported that the right-back's departure to Liverpool is imminent.

The 24-year-old Frimpong is set to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, who is moving to Real Madrid. The Dutch international joined Leverkusen from Celtic in 2021 for eleven million euros and scored a total of 190 goals in 30 competitive matches for Bayer.
