Manchester City celebrates second win in a row

Manchester City continues its comeback in the Premier League. After three games without a win in a row, the English football champions celebrated their second win in a row on matchday 20 against West Ham United.

Despite the 4-1 victory, star coach Pep Guardiola's team is currently sixth in the table and is still eleven points behind league leaders Liverpool, who will host Manchester United this Sunday (17.30 p.m.). They are two points away from a Champions League place.

After taking the lead through an own goal by West Ham's Vladimir Coufal (10th minute), top striker Erling Haaland scored a brace (42nd/55th) to seal the win. Phil Foden scored the fourth goal for the hosts (58th). With his second goal in the Premier League, national player Niclas Füllkrug (71st) only managed a consolation goal for the 13th-placed team from London.
