POLL | Who will win the Europa League?
Manchester United and Tottenham have the opportunity on Wednesday (21.00 p.m.) to end a season that has been completely botched at the national level in a somewhat conciliatory manner.

Both Premier League major clubs will meet in the Europa League final in Bilbao, with the winner looking forward to a prestigious title and a ticket worth millions for the upcoming Champions League phase.
Both the Red Devils and Spurs are miles away from qualifying for the Champions League via the league title. Record champions United are only in 16th place with one round of matches remaining, but are still one place and one point higher than the London club. The fact that their manager, Ange Postecoglou, is still in office is thanks to the prospect of Tottenham's first major title win in decades. In 1984, they triumphed in the UEFA Cup; after that, they only celebrated the FA Cup (1991) and the League Cup (1999, 2008).

This dry spell is now set to end. "If you look at the club's history, this match could be a turning point," said Postecoglou, referring to the teasing Spurs have received due to their chronic lack of success. The Australian coach has his team play a risky, attacking style of football, which their opponents all too often exploit. Postecoglou doesn't care. "We're certainly not going out there trying to slap a wall on a horrible 1-0 win," is the 59-year-old's motto.
Manchester United has also been suffering from a lack of success for years. Since their last league title in 2013, they have only managed to win the FA Cup (2016, 2024), the League Cup (2017, 2023), and the Europa League (2017).
