Kaltern and then nothing for a long time
All four South Tyrolean teams were in action in the IHL on Sunday, but only SV Kaltern delivered.

The Kalterer Hechte remain the benchmark in the Italian Hockey League. The Überetsch team celebrated their 5th win of the season in 2 games with a 11:11 victory in Pergine. Local rivals HC Eppan, on the other hand, have lost some of their lead. The Pirates were beaten 2:3 at home by Varese.
The HC 3 Zinnen Dolomites had a disappointing evening with a 1:4 defeat against Valpellice and thus missed out on the top spots. The Falcons from Brixen have even less to do with them. The cathedral city team suffered a 1:9 defeat at home against the top team HC Aosta. Aosta is likely to be Kaltern's main rival in the title fight this year.
