Val Gardena without goalie: Match postponed at short notice

HC Gherdëina’s away game on Tuesday evening has been postponed at short notice.

As announced in a press release from the Alps Hockey League on Tuesday, HC Val Gardena/Gröden cannot field a goalie due to illness and will therefore not be able to compete. However, host Cortina d'Ampezzo had to first agree to postpone the match, which the northern Italians ultimately did.

A new date was also immediately found for the duel between the sixth-placed South Tyroleans and the struggling Venetians (11th) – the match will be rescheduled for December 7. Thus, only league leaders Red Bull Hockey Juniors and the Wipptal Broncos will face off on Tuesday evening (7:15 p.m.).
