Angelo Miceli returns to the ICE

After his early departure from England, Angelo Miceli’s new employer is known: the Kaltern native is joining the ICE Hockey League again.

After only a few months Angelo Miceli's adventure with the Sheffield Steelers in Great Britain. The Canadian, who is married to a woman from Kaltern, terminated his contract and returned to his adopted home of South Tyrol. It is now clear where Miceli has signed: he will be hunting for goals for Asiago in the ICE Hockey League.

The Stellati announced this on Monday morning. This means that Miceli is returning to the league in which he spent a large part of his career. In 2017, the Canadian, whose grandparents come from southern Italy, landed in Europe for the first time, at HC Bozen. Miceli stayed with the White-Reds until the summer of 2024, even celebrating a championship title with them and also met his current wife Gerda during that time. whom he married last July in Kaltern.

The duel against Bozen will soon take place

Because his contract with Bozen was not renewed, Miceli moved to England to join the Sheffield Steelers. The 30-year-old was not happy there, however, and so a new adventure in Asiago is now underway for him. "I am very happy to be playing for Asiago in the future. I already know many of the players and have only heard good things about the team," said Miceli. The striker will not have to wait long to see his old love HC Bozen again. The duel between the two rivals is already scheduled for December 3rd.
