This top transfer makes Bozen's hearts beat faster

At HC Bozen, one high-profile transfer announcement follows the next. Now the Foxes have brought back an old acquaintance for the defense, who has already given HCB fans a lot of joy in the past.

This news warms the hearts of the Bozen fans: Cole Hults will be lacing up his skates for the HCB again next season. The Foxes announced this on Wednesday morning - and have thus completed the next transfer hit. Hults is not only an outstanding offensive defender, but has already left his mark in Bozen.

Two years ago, the 26-year-old American was one of the Foxes' outstanding players - along with his brother and striker Mitch Hults - who reached the final of the ICE Hockey League. It was also Cole Hults who scored the opening goal in the all-important final game 7 against Salzburg and made the fans dream of the long-awaited title. But then Salzburg turned the match around in the final minutes and pushed Bozen into the valley of tears.

However, this did not detract from Cole Hults' outstanding season. The defender collected a total of 36 points. His plus-minus value was impressive: in the regular season, it was an incredible +40 - a record in the ICE Hockey League.

One of the best in Slovakia

It is understandable that Hults was difficult to keep after such a season and so last summer he moved to HKM Zvolen in Slovakia, where the US boy was once again one of the best. With a total of 39 points, Hults was the fourth best scorer on the team and the defender with the highest points on his team.

Now Cole Hults is returning to the Foxes. The Bolzano team has thus lost Josh Teves (he took the opposite route and moved to Slovakia) ideally compensated. The Talferstädter offensive is, as we know, quite a strong piece, Now sports director Dieter Knoll is also working (successfully) on a rock-solid defense.
