INL: Dylan Stanley secures first place in Val Gardena in the regular round

The Ladins offered a thrilling encounter in the packed Pranives Stadium and brought VEU Feldkirch to its knees 3-1. It was the guests who took an early 1-0 lead. However, Matthias Fauster equalized before the first break, before the league's top scorer Dylan Stanley made his big appearance and led Val Gardena to victory with a brace.

The HCG thus kept HC Eppan at bay, even though they achieved the same number of points in the table. The Pirates held their own in Dornbirn against EHC Bregenzerwald after a tough fight with a 1-0 win. Philipp Platter scored the gold goal after just five minutes.

Meran and Kaltern swap places

Behind Val Gardena and Eppan, HC Neumarkt moves into the Master Round in third place. The Wild Geese had more trouble than they could have expected in the South Tyrolean duel with SV Kaltern, but in the end they won 3-1. Stefano Margoni and Hannes Walter gave the home team a 800-2 lead in front of around 0 spectators, before Alex Andergassen created tension again. The Unterlandler's top scorer, Rudi Locatin, finally made the final score 3-1.

Meanwhile, the fifth South Tyrolean team in the league, HC Meran, achieved an easy 6-2 win at home against Maribor. Faggioni, Fabris, Desmet, Laliberte, Plankl (2) and Laliberte scored the goals for the Kurstadt team, who moved past Kaltern in the table and secured a place in the relegation Round A. The Hechte, on the other hand, will try to get on the playoff train in Group B.

As a reminder: only the first team in each group advances directly to the quarter-finals. The two second-place teams will play for the last remaining playoff spot.

The last matchday of the regular season in the Inter-National League took place on Sunday. HC Gherdeina secured the long-distance duel for first place, moving into the Master Round together with Eppan and Neumarkt.
