A promise for the future
"We remain true to our philosophy and are continually bringing in young, homegrown players," says sporting director Sven Leuenberger. "This duo has proven its qualities at the highest level. Daniel Olsson is a fast and strong winger, while Alessandro Segafredo impresses with his shot and his strength in duels."Both youngsters have already celebrated championship titles in the Lions youth team: Olsson in 2021 and 2022 with the U17 Elite and in 2023 with the U20 Elite. Segafredo in 2021 with the U17 Elite and in 2023 with the U20 Elite. The striker from Asiago then ventured on an adventure in North America, but returned after just one season. He is now a regular in Jukka Jalonen's national team.
