The new CHL winner comes to Vinschgau

After ERC Ingolstadt, the organizers of the Vinschgau Cup have lured another top team to the renowned summer ice hockey tournament in Latsch.

On Tuesday evening, the ZSC Lions won the final of the Champions Hockey League. The Swiss team beat Färjestad, Damian Clara's former club, 2-1.

In the summer, the Lions will compete in the Vinschgau Cup. The organizers have thus managed to lure the reigning CHL winners to Latsch. So far, Ingolstadt has been confirmed as a participant. The two teams will also duel in the opening game of the 9th edition (22 August, 20 p.m.). They will be in action again two days later; the opponents have not yet been announced.

We are still looking for two more participants in the Vinschgau Cup. Last year, Ingolstadt won the popular preparation tournament.
