The AgeFactor Run concludes the Top7 running series with dignity

The grand finale of the Top7 running series will take place on Saturday, October 18, at the eighth AgeFactor Run in Bronzolo. For the second time, the running competition, which also takes the athletes' age into account, will start and finish near the cultural center in Bronzolo. The "Memorial Andrea Isoppo" Just-For-Fun Run will also take place during the competition. Furthermore, the series' final awards ceremony is planned for the end of the AgeFactor Run, the seventh and final leg of the 2025 Top7 running series.

The starting signal for the eighth AgeFactor Run will be given on October 18th at 15 p.m. near the Cultural Center in Bronzolo. "From the center of Bronzolo, participants will run towards Vadena and Laives. They will then return to the Cultural Center, where they will reach the finish line," explains Massimo Zago from the US Bronzolo Organizing Committee, adding: "In total, they will cover 10 kilometers on a fast, relatively flat course suitable for runners of all ages."

In addition to the course, it's primarily the concept that makes the AgeFactor Run so popular, even among master's runners. The official times are multiplied by an age factor based on the actual time and recalculated. Therefore, it's not certain that the overall fastest athletes will win on October 18th, but rather those who achieve the best multiplied times. This was also the case last year, when Maurizio Leonardi, already the winner in 2023, defended his title and Cristina Celva took her first victory, even though Khalid Jbari and Andreea Lucaci were the fastest of the day.

Runs for all tastes

Those who enjoy running without competing or measuring themselves against a stopwatch can participate in the "Memorial Andrea Isoppo." This is a non-competitive five-kilometer run open to everyone, starting a few minutes after the race starts. Preparations for both runs are almost complete, and there's still some time to register for the event. "Regarding registration, we've introduced a new feature for companies this year. If five employees from a company register for the AgeFactor Run, the sixth person can register for free," explains Zago.
