A Trentino and an Austrian celebrate on Monte Pana

Alberto Vender from Trentino and Amelie Muss from Austria won the Saslong Half Marathon.

The Saslong Half Marathon covered 21 kilometers and 900 meters of elevation gain, with the start and finish at Monte Pana.


The race was already sold out in advance, reaching the 600-participant limit. Athletes from around 20 nations participated.

Alberto Vender prevailed in the men's race. The Val di Fiemme native crossed the finish line in 1:35.48 hours, relegating Daniele Felicetti (1:36.32) and Haflinger rider Andreas Reiterer (1:37.12) to second and third place, respectively.

In the women's race, Austrian Amelie Muss took the win in 1:51.16 hours. This also set a new women's course record. Second place went to Martina Falchetti of Sportclub Merano (1:51.51), and third place went to Katharina Esswein of Germany (2:05.13).
