Osele triumphs at Vigiljoch

The duathlon (first cycling, then running) from Cermes to Vigiljoch has long been a classic. This year marked the 13th edition, with 1.205 meters of elevation gain to be conquered.

The winner with the day's fastest time was the eternally young Roland Osele (55), who crossed the finish line in 57.22 minutes. The second-fastest time of the day was set by Martin Markt (59.09). The women's race went to Sabrina Kiem (1:15.46 hours), ahead of Julia Schrötter and Marie Kurzyszova.

The duathlon could also be completed as a team. The best men's duo at Vigiljoch was Kurt Wohlfarter and Armin Gögele (51.59), followed by Michael Egger/Veith Berger (53.56) and Flori Matscher/Felix Verdorfer (59.37). The best mixed team was Edi Rizzi and Maria Luise Rabensteiner. The diligent organizing committee ensured everything ran smoothly. Many will also be showing off their skills at the 2026th edition in 14.
