Slippery offer after strange Olympic appearance

A strange scene occurred at the Olympic Games in Paris: French high jumper Anthony Ammirati was eliminated after his best part hit the bar. An action that went viral on the internet - and earned the 21-year-old a saucy offer.

After Ammirati had mastered the heights of 5,40 meters and 5,60 meters with ease, he failed at the 5,70 meter mark. In his attempt to overcome the height, he first grazed the bar with his knee before finally causing it to fall with his genitals.

This means that Ammirati's Olympic journey in his own country ends in the qualification. His Instagram follower count rose from 4.000 to over 200.000 within a few days.

After the viral success of the video of Ammirati's mishap, he received a surprising offer from a US porn site. The owner of the website, Daryn Parker, offered the young Frenchman a whopping $250.000 for a 60-minute webcam show. "As a lover of activities that revolve around the crotch, I would be happy to offer you a considerable sum to show off your assets - without the crossbar, of course," Parker explained in an interview with the US gossip portal TMZ.

It is still unclear whether Ammirati will accept the offer. However, he is reportedly "embarrassed" by the whole situation and the viral video. One thing is clear: if his name has not already been etched into the collective memory of the sporting world through his victories at the 20 U2021 European Championship and the 20 U2022 World Cup, then it certainly is now.
