The starting shot for the AgeFactor Run was fired at 15 p.m. sharp in Branzoll and around 200 participants ran from the cultural center towards the village center, from where they continued to Pfatten and then Leifers. When they reached the finish line in Branzoll, the tension was electric. Due to the age factor (“AgeFactor”), the running time is multiplied by an individual value depending on the athlete’s age and in the men’s race, Maurizio Leonardi from Trentino had the best final result, thereby confirming his victory from the previous year. The athlete from ASD Master Trieste won with a time of 28.24,4 minutes (running time: 36.33,6 minutes).
Frowin Stecher came in second with an AgeFactor time of 28.36,1 minutes, and Matthias Agethle (29.57,0 minutes), who also finished in this position last year, came in third. The fastest athlete, however, was Khalid Jbari. The runner from Athletic Club 96 Alperia crossed the finish line after 31.22,0 minutes. The best running time of the day brought Jbari to fifth place. Fabian Fronthaler (ASD Atl. Club 2000 Toblach) was the second fastest in Branzoll, and Matthias Agethle also came in third here.
