Kurtatsch martial artist successful in North Tyrol

Around 500 athletes from a total of 6 nations took part in this year’s edition of the International Kaiserwinkel Open in Kössen (North Tyrol).

The Taekwondokas from ASV Zadra-fighting/rothoblaas from Kurtatsch secured several medals and other top results.

In the A-class of the Schwarzgute there was a silver medal each for Datz Anna in the U18 youth +68 kg, Dissertori David in the U18 youth -68 kg, Mittermair Thomas in the U18 youth +78 kg and Schwertner Jenny in the women -57 kg.

Fifth place in the A-class of black belts went to Tobias Santer in the men's -68 kg, Gabriel Marcomin in the men's +80 kg and Gabriele Cera in the men's -80 kg.

In the B-class color belt category, 12-year-old Jannik Virdis won the gold medal in the U14 youth category after winning two matches. Silver went to Ruele Julia in the U14 youth -59 kg category, Battisti Noah in the U18 youth -73 kg category, Markus Lemayr in the men's -80 kg category, and Lang Greta in the U18 youth -59 kg category. Condin Leo took a respectable fifth place in the schoolboy -30 kg category.
