South Tyrolean motocross team fights bravely
Last weekend, the town of Città di Castello in Umbria transformed into the Mecca of Italian motocross: the best riders met for the Regions Trophy, one of the most important competitions of the season.

The small South Tyrolean team fielded six riders, all of whom battled with passion and fighting spirit on the track: David Schieder and Maximilian Rabensteiner competed in the 125 class, Michael Rabensteiner and Dominik Varotto competed in the MX2 category, and Georg Falser represented the MX1 class. Norbert Lantschner competed in the veterans category.
Two races were held per class, meaning the riders completed a total of eight races. At the end of the intense weekend, the South Tyrolean team finished 16th out of 21 teams—a respectable result considering the strong competition. The team from Tuscany secured the win, followed by Marche and Lombardy, who rounded out the podium.
Laia Pichler crowned European Trial Champion
Laia Pichler delivered an outstanding performance in the International Woman Cup of the Trial European Championship in Torrebelvicino. The rider of the Trial Team South Tyrol secured the European Championship title with 31 points, just ahead of Clara Petz (32 points) and Valerie Falbesoner (39 points).With skill, focus, and great determination, Pichler confirmed her talent and her role as a figurehead of Italian women's trials. The South Tyrolean's victory is clear evidence of Laia Pichler's steady progress and her growing competitiveness at the European level.
