Strong South Tyrolean performances in Mantua

With a total of 244 riders competing, the third round of the Northeast Motocross Championship took place last Sunday in Mantua. On the historic track in Lombardy, the South Tyrolean riders showed strong form and achieved impressive results in several classes.

The race was particularly successful for Elias Eder of MC Evergreen, who took a commanding victory in the Cadetti 65 class. Felix Tschager (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 12th. In the Junior 85 category, Jakob Gamperieder (Alp-Riders Meran) finished a strong third, thus securing a podium finish. Matteo Benamati (MC Arco) finished eleventh.


A South Tyrolean also competed at the top in the Junior 125 class: Lukas Messner (MAC Brixen) finished a respectable seventh. In the Challenge MX2 category, Gianluca Lira (TTS) and Harald Buchschwenter (Ferlu Racing) finished 11th and 21st, respectively. Hannes Pfattner (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 13th in the Rider MX2 category.

Among the Expert riders, Dominik Varotto (Ferlu Racing) finished 2th in the MX18 class. Georg Falser (Ferlu Racing) delivered a strong performance in the Expert MX1 category, taking a solid fourth place. In the veteran classes, Mario Franzoi (Ferlu Racing) finished seventh in the Veteran Open, while Davide Varotto (Ferlu Racing) also finished seventh in the Superveteran Open.

Another podium finish went to Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen), who finished third in the Master Open. Maurizio Lubian (Ferlu Racing) finished tenth.
