Strong performance by the South Tyrolean motocross riders in Storo

At the fourth round of the regional motocross championship in Storo, the South Tyrolean riders impressed with outstanding performances. Five class wins and three additional podium finishes went to the local riders, once again impressively demonstrating their class.

The young riders in particular put on a great performance: Jakob Gampenrieder of the Alp-Riders Meran team won the 85 Junior category, while Liam Pichler of the MC Berbenno took the 85 Senior class. His teammate Gabriel Hueber of the Alp-Riders Meran followed in second place. A South Tyrolean was also unbeatable in the 2 Junior category: David Schieder of the TTS confidently secured the day's victory. Equally successful was Gianluca Lira (TTS), who dominated the Challenge MX125, while the experienced Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen) triumphed in the Open Masters.

There were numerous other strong placings. Lenny Trafoier (ST) narrowly missed the podium in fourth place in the 65 Debutanti, while Felix Tschager and Leonhard Holzer (both Alp-Riders Meran) finished 65th and 5th in the 6 Cadetti category. In the MX2 classes, Hannes Pfattner, Michael Rabensteiner, and Dominik Varotto secured top-ten finishes, as did Maurizio Lubian, Marco Belleri, Davide Varotto, and Mario Franzoi in the various Open categories. Helmuth Braun of MC Neumarkt also excelled with a second-place finish in the Open Superveteran category.
