Gambaro won the three-position competition, the prone shooting and the air rifle in Bologna. This crowned the Schlanders native's outstanding year in 2024, in which she celebrated her Olympic debut in Paris.
Another South Tyrolean, Simon Weithaler, won two gold medals in Bologna. The Naturno native won the three-position match and the prone competition.
