Sinner and his sweetheart: “A couple for four years”

Tennis superstar Jannik Sinner is currently the most sought-after athlete in all of Italy. However, not much is known about the Sesto native's private life. Now there is one of the rare insights.

Does Jannik Sinner have a girlfriend or not? This has been a recurring topic in the Italian tabloid press since the Sesto native's rapid rise. In the fall of 2020, Sinner made his relationship with the influencer Maria Braccini public, then there were rumors of a separation, then the two broke up last year November together again at a Champions League game for Milan.

Silvia Mannucci revealed what's really going on. She is the mother of Maria Braccini and told the magazine Oggi: “Jannik and my daughter have been a couple for four years now. Let’s leave them alone.”

Not much is known about Braccini. She comes from Tuscany, where her mother runs a local business in the municipality of Montevarchi. Maria, who used to be a talented dancer, spends a lot of time in Monte Carlo, where Sinner mainly lives. The two are said to have met on social media. Braccini is also very successful with her account there: she is followed by more than 250.000 users.

There are no shared photos on both Braccini's and Sinner's profiles. The tennis superstar explained why this is the case in an interview with 2021 Sports Gazette. “Maria and I are two young people who are having a great time together. Why should we share this with everyone?”
