It has long been known that Jannik Sinner is considered everybody's darling in Italy. And yet it is always astonishing to see the extent to which the Sextner's popularity has now reached. A video that is currently going viral on the internet shows how crazy the fans are about the South Tyrolean superstar.

What happened? Sinner is filling up his car at a gas station. It doesn't take long for the tall, curly-haired man to be recognized - and for a real crowd of fans to form around Sinner. Some fans even sprint over from the parking lot next door. Whether old or young - everyone wants a photo with the three-time Grand Slam winner. And Sinner, gentleman that he is, is ready to fulfill these wishes.

A passerby captured these scenes on video. It was also easy to hear the fans complimenting their Jannik. "You are our pride and joy," said one, "Great, thank you, Jannik," said another. And at the end, the author of the video himself shouted: "Poor guy! Let him go now." After the photo requests were taken care of, Sinner got in, sped off in his Audi - and once again won the hearts of many fans.
