This is accompanied by Carlos Alcaraz zu Jannik Sinner and Alexander ZverevFor the Spaniard, it is the third time he has qualified for a tour final. Sinner reached the final last year, but was defeated by Novak Djokovic. In Turin, however, the Pustertal native sparked a new tennis boom in Italy. "Sinner, Sinner, Sinner" often echoed through the Pala Alpitour that week.
The best eight tennis players of the year qualify for the ATP Finals. In the so-called "Race to Turin", Daniil Medvedev is in fourth place. He is followed by Taylor Fritz (5th), Casper Ruud (6th), Andrey Rublev (7th) and Alex De Minaur (8th). Djokovic is currently only in ninth place. As things stand, last year's winner would have to watch.

Behind Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov (10th), Tommy Paul (11th) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (12th) also still think they have a chance. Lorenzo Musetti (15th) has not yet written off Turin. Neither has Hubert Hurkacz (13th) or Frances Tiafoe (14th). The Masters in Shanghai and Paris-Bercy will be the decisive events now.
