On the very demanding and twisty course, Alice Robinson celebrated her victory in the Super-G. The 24-year-old New Zealander had previously never stood on the podium in this discipline, while she had already won the Giant Slalom six times.
In St. Moritz, Robinson narrowly beat France's Romane Miradoli by eight hundredths of a second. Sofia Goggia finished third – as she did in Saturday's second downhill race. Goggia's consistency is excellent; the Bergamasque skier, accustomed to success, has only been waiting for a victory since mid-January.

Behind Goggia, her friend Lindsey Vonn finished fourth. After a win and a second place in the downhill, the 41-year-old American missed the podium for the first time this speed season. Elena Curtoni (6th) and Laura Pirovano (8th) were two other Italians who finished in the top ten. The winner from the previous day, Emma Aicher, however, fell after only a few meters.
South Tyroleans defeated
Mikaela Shiffrin, however, crashed out just a few gates from the finish in her Super-G comeback. South Tyrolean skiers Nadia and Nicol Delago, as well as Vicky Bernardi and Sara Thaler, all missed out on points and finished in the top 30. The women's Ski World Cup continues on Tuesday evening with a slalom in Courchevel, France.Edit Profile
