After fall in Sestriere: All clear for Camille Rast

The Swiss slalom specialist Camille Rast fell in Sestriere and remained lying in the finish area. Shortly before the start of the second run, the all-clear was given.

Rast was doing well in the first run, but she had a mishap at the third-to-last gate before the finish. The Swiss skier got tangled up and hit the piste hard before coming to a stop just behind the finish line. Although Rast was able to leave the finish area on her own two feet, there were still concerns about the leader in the Slalom World Cup.

However, these were apparently unfounded. As Swiss Ski told the Swiss tabloid View announced that Rast has not sustained any serious injuries. Instead, it is said to be a painful bruised thigh.
