The two are head over heels in love: A ski star enjoys a romantic holiday in paradise with his new girlfriend.

The summer break in the ski world is quite long. There are no World Cup races between March and October. Doesn't that get boring for some? Well, Lucas Braathen certainly doesn't. The Norwegian, who has been competing for his second home country, Brazil, since last season, has plenty of action even in the months without skiing stress.

Whether it's a trip to New York, a soccer game on Copacabana Beach, cycling training in Mallorca, or a meeting with soccer legend Ronaldo (the Brazilian, mind you) – Braathen has been up to a lot lately. But the 25-year-old attracted the most attention in June when it was announced that he had a new girlfriend.

First Kitzbühel, then Ibiza

Isadora Cruz has been Braathen's partner for several months. The two were first seen together in public in mid-June, enjoying a vacation in Kitzbühel. Recently, however, the two have moved to warmer climes, and the newly in love couple were spotted cuddling in Ibiza.

In photos Braathen posted on Instagram, the two beamed with joy at the camera. These are the first couple photos the ski star has posted on social media. "My few, but wonderful days of summer break," Braathen captioned. Other photos show the adoring couple enjoying their time in idyllic bays, at beautiful sunsets, and in the typical Ibiza nightlife.

She is an actress and model

Incidentally, Braathen's girlfriend is an actress and a well-known TV personality in Brazil. She has more than 700.000 followers on Instagram and is also a successful model. Braathen is now back to training: He wants to compete in the upcoming Olympic winter.
