Nothing's happening in Zauchensee: Training cancelled

The second training session for the women's alpine World Cup downhill race, scheduled for Friday in Zauchensee, has been cancelled.

The reason was persistent snowfall and a large amount of snow on the Kälberloch slope. The first training run on Thursday was shortened due to wind in the upper section. In Salzburg, a downhill race is scheduled for Saturday (11:30 a.m.) and a Super-G for Sunday (12:00 p.m.).

In the first training session on Thursday, Nadia Delago from Val Gardena impressed with a sixth-place finish. The favorites held back.
