The Redemption of Henrik Kristoffersen
Even though Henrik Kristoffersen narrowly missed the podium in last season's slalom, the Norwegian is the shining man in Sun Valley (USA).

Fourth place in the final race of the World Cup season was enough for Henrik Kristoffersen to win the small crystal globe in slalom. The Norwegian achieved this feat for the fourth time and for the first time in three years. The now 4-year-old won the first one nine years ago.
At the finish, Kristoffersen appeared extremely relaxed, lying on the ground and screaming his joy. His main rival, Loic Meillard (5th), was no longer a threat to Kristoffersen on Thursday because the Swiss had messed up the first run. The day's victory went to Timon Haugan, who narrowly beat Clement Noel.

Alex Vinatzer from Val Gardena competed despite a bruised shoe rim in the difficult conditions and finished in 17th place. This puts an end to the 2024/25 World Cup season. In the women's slalom, incidentally, just an hour earlier, the young Croatian Zrinka Ljutic won the globe. At the same time, there was a show of power from Mikaela Shiffrin (SportNews reported).
