Tobias Kastlunger is on the podium again

Tobias Kastlunger also reached the podium at the second European Cup giant slalom in Zinal (Switzerland). He was only beaten by a well-known name.

Kastlunger followed up his first European Cup podium finish with a second just one day later. The 26-year-old from Enneberg again finished second on Friday. This time, he was beaten by 23 hundredths of a second by Eduard Hallberg. The young Finn had already stood on the World Cup podium this year in Levi – albeit in the slalom.

Swiss rider Sandro Zurbrügg finished third on Friday, ahead of Austrian Noel Zwischenbrugger. Two more Italians, Simon Talacci (8th) and Davide Seppi (9th), also finished in the top ten.
