Vinatzer's finishing touches in Tierra del Fuego

Alex Vinatzer traveled to Argentina on Friday, where he is preparing for the upcoming Ski World Cup season.

From August 9th to 24th, Vinatzer trained on snow in the Argentinian mountains. Now he's returned to Ushuaia, the capital of the Tierra del Fuego province. There, he's working with fellow Azzurri athletes Tommaso Sala, Filippo Della Vite, and Luca De Aliprandini on the final touches for the start of the season.

The technical disciplines team is led by head coach Mauro Pini and technical coaches Peter Fill and Davide Marchetti. The Azzurri will remain in Argentina until October 5. The World Cup then traditionally begins at the end of October with the giant slalom in Sölden.
