Continue the upward trend in Madonna di Campiglio

On Wednesday evening it's that time again, the popular night slalom in Madonna di Campiglio will take place. Although the date is not quite as convenient for South Tyrolean fans this year, the ski aces around Alex Vinatzer still want to finally gain a foothold in the slalom.

While things have been going well in the giant slalom recently, things are still lacking in the slalom this season. Alex Vinatzer was eliminated twice in four races, finishing in 4th and 2th place. Simon Maurberger, on the other hand, was able to celebrate World Cup points in Alta Badia after being kicked out of the national team in the summer. Tobias Kastlunger has been the best so far (10th, 17th, 5th).

The three South Tyroleans will also be competing in Madonna di Campiglio. The Italian Winter Sports Association is also sending Tommaso Saccardi, Corrado Barbera and veteran Stefano Gross into the race.

It all starts in Trentino at 17.45:1 p.m. when the first run opens. The final takes place 3 hours later at 20.45:XNUMX p.m.
