The local hero cheers in the pouring rain

This year's Raiffeisen FIS Challenge in Val Gardena began on Friday in pouring rain with a Super-G on Piz Sella on Plan de Gralba. In the men's race, local hero Max Perathoner from Wolkenstein was unbeatable, while in the women's race the Swiss Elena Sanna Stucki took the day's victory.
