With weird hairstyles: Swiss ski stars celebrate World Cup title

Some people will have to get used to this sight. Downhill world champion Franjo von Allmen and the Swiss ski team apparently had their razors in their hair after their sporting show in Saalbach-Hinterglemm on Sunday.

The 23-year-old not only appeared in a great mood after his gold medal ride, but also with a bald head. His hair was completely shaved off in the middle, but still long on the sides - just like his compatriot Marco Odermatt.

“The better it looks, the worse it gets,” wrote von Allmen amusedly on a photo of himself and the Swiss crew that he had posted on social media. The World Cup debutant had previously raced to the title and had disenchanted alpine dominator Odermatt.

The 27-year-old had to settle for fifth place two days after winning Super-G gold. But he was pleased with the strong Swiss team result, to which Alexis Monney also contributed with bronze. He also has a haircut that takes some getting used to.
