South Tyrol's Nordic combined skiers not in the top field in Otepää

The normal hill competitions took place in Otepää (Estonia) on Friday. South Tyrol's Nordic combined athletes played no role in the fight for the top spots.

Samuel Costa in 24th place and Aaron Kostner (34th) were the best Italians on Friday in Otepää. The victory went to Germany's Julian Schmid, who had been in 4th place after the jumping portion. Johannes Lamparter (AUT) and Einar Luraas Oftebro (NOR) completed the podium.

In the women's race, Daniela Dejori finished in 21st place after losing four positions on the course. Ida Marie Hagen (NOR) took the victory. Second place went to Minja Korhonen (FIN), and third to Nathalie Armbruster (GER).
