The Bø brothers return to the biathlon spotlight
Johannes Thingnes Bø and Tarjei Bø ended their successful careers at the end of March. In about two months, the two Norwegian brothers will be back in the spotlight – in familiar surroundings.

Six months after their emotional farewell at the World Cup finals in Oslo, the time has come: Johannes Thingnes Bø and Tarjei Bø are dusting off their skis and rifles and competing against renowned names. On August 31, the two Norwegian superstars will be among the participants in the City Biathlon in Dresden. They will return to the spotlight in the "Legends Race" and battle for victory with other champions from recent times. So far, only Benedikt Doll has been identified as a challenger to the two Olympic champions; two more athletes are yet to be announced.
One thing is already certain: Johannes Thingnes will likely be in amazing shape. After all, the five-time Olympic champion recently took part in a marathon and completed it in a strong 3:26 hours.
Jeanmonnot, Perrot and Co. also at the start
In addition to the legends, renowned active biathletes will also be competing in Dresden. Among the men's competitors are the two Frenchmen Eric Perrot and Quentin Fillon Maillet, among others, in the ten-athlete field. Lou Jeanmonnot, Markéta Davidova, and Anamarija Lampic are expected to be crowd-pullers in the women's race.City Biathlon Dresden – Starting field
