Grassl and Pezzetta celebrate in Varese

The Italian Figure Skating Championships ended on Saturday evening in the “Acinque Arena” in Varese with the decision of the pairs. Two South Tyrolean athletes particularly shone in the championships: Daniel Grassl in the men’s category and Anna Pezzetta in the women’s category each secured the Italian championship title in the general class.

Two South Tyroleans on the road to success: While Daniel Grassl crowns his comeback with another title, 17-year-old Anna Pezzetta impresses with her debut in the elite class. What is behind the success of the two and what does the rest of the competition calendar look like?
