The two-night tour becomes a one-woman show

Ski jumper Nika Prevc was crowned winner of the “Two Nights Tour” on Wednesday.

24 hours after her success in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Slovenian also won in Oberstdorf on New Year's Day and thus confidently secured the Tour ranking.

In Oberstdorf, Prevc relegated the two Norwegians Anna Odine Ström (311,9) and Eirin Maria Kvandal (304,5) to second and third place with 300,1 points. Kvandal thus came second in the tour ranking.

Malsiner with very strong placement

The best Azzurra on New Year's Day was Lara Malsiner, who jumped to a strong 15th place. With jumps of 116 and 118,5 meters, the Val Gardena native earned 256,3 points. Annika Sieff came in 23rd, while Jessica Malsiner was stuck in the qualification.

The Women's World Cup is now coming to Austria this weekend, where points will be competed for in Villach on Sunday (11.15 a.m.) and Monday (14.20 p.m.).
